Mobil1.net announces that its newest WiFi Internet Service network
for public access in Pittsburg, KS is now operational! Mobil1 calls
the new wireless service Mobil1.net Public Wifi.
Now, a significant portion of the population of Pittsburg can connect to
the Internet through one of the Mobil1.net Neighborhood WiFi Portals
using their Laptop computer with a wifi 802.11b/g networking
adaptor. The subscriber's computer must be within radio range of
one of the Mobil1.net Neighborhood Portals.
New portals are being added every week, so keep watch with your
computer's wireless network management tool and when Mobil1 adds a new
Neighborhood Portal in your area, a Mobil1.net Public WiFi
ssid will appear.
